To Parents
On the Internet, there are vast volumes of information and contents that allow children to learn and play. Children can also enjoy free expression and communication through services such as social networking services, mini-mail, blogs, chat and BBS.
In this way, the social networking services can provide children opportunities to freely express themselves and communicate, and it can contribute to the healthy development of children through free expression and communication.
On the other hand, GREE perceives the current situation that children without adequate knowledge on the Internet get involved with crimes and trouble while PC and mobile phone users expand, as a serious issue.
For children to safely and comfortably use the Internet, we established an operational policy to provide them an environment to actively use the Internet by selecting the appropriate information and to facilitate children adequately with ability to provide information over the Internet.
Furthermore, GREE has been carrying out various measures to maintain the user environment of various services to conform to the standards for a sound management system as stipulated by the Content Evaluation and Monitoring Association (EMA), a third party organization.
