GREE's Network Reaches 130 Million Users Worldwide- GREE sees global user expansion in the U.S., Europe and China -

TOKYO, Japan - August 4th, 2011- GREE, Japan's leading mobile social gaming platform, today announced that its user base has surpassed 130 million worldwide, up from 100 million users last April*.

GREE is rapidly expanding internationally and the increase in users plays a vital role in GREE's commitment to provide the best global gaming ecosystem, and enhancing communication between users.

Additionally, GREE continues to have strategic alliances with global partners to create an ecosystem that enables developers to easily expand into the global market. GREE and Tencent, one of the largest Internet service providers in China with 650 million users, have agreed to standardize specifications of their social application platforms for smartphones. In addition, GREE and mig33, a mobile SNS with approximately 50 million users in emerging countries including Southeast Asia, have already created common platform specifications.
