GREE Announces Investment in Wizcorp Inc.- Investment Focused on HTML5-based Mobile Social Game Development -
TOKYO, Japan - April 9, 2012 - GREE today announced an investment in Wizcorp Inc. - a Tokyo-based game developer. Wizcorp specializes in HTML5 game development and is a leading resource for developers seeking to expand their knowledge of web-based technology.
Established in 2008, Wizcorp was a pioneer of front and back-end development of high-performing HTML5 games solely relying on Javascript, coupling its proprietary game engine - “Mithril” - with node.js in the back-end. GREE will leverage Wizcorp's industry expertise to add more HTML5 experience to its existing developer partner portfolio.
