GREE to Take the Stage at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2012- Booth to Demonstrate the Evolution of Social Gaming -

Tokyo, Japan - August 22, 2012 - GREE today announced it will participate in the TOKYO GAME SHOW 2012 (“TGS”), which takes place in Tokyo from September 20 to September 23. GREE's exhibit this year will be themed on the evolution of social gaming, with a lineup of game demos showcasing the breadth of GREE's hit social games, from its own in-house games to games by third-party developers. The program will also include talk sessions and a program of entertainment.

The theme of TGS this year is “Spreading Smiles Through Games,” and the show will depict today's changing environment, as gaming continues to expand beyond consoles across a range of gaming devices from feature phones and smartphones through to tablets. GREE's exhibit at TGS caps a year that marked the company's full-fledged emergence on the world stage, with debut exhibits at E3 in Los Angeles, the world's largest game show, at gamescom in Cologne and the company's second consecutive appearance at ChinaJoy in Shanghai. In May 2012, GREE launched GREE Platform, bringing fun social games to an increasingly diverse and wide-reaching audience around the world.

The GREE booth will highlight GREE's continuing contribution to the evolution of gaming and its global importance today as the operator of a cross-platform ecosystem in which friends can come together to play games anywhere, any time. The exhibit will show how technological advances have brought new levels of graphics quality, vividness in color and sharpness in resolution, all of which, combined with increasing sophistication in device motion and touch sensitivity, enable GREE Platform users around the world to share in a richer than ever gaming experience.

GREE's lineup of games will span a broad range of genres: Wacky Motors, a cart racing game in which up to eight players can compete online, controlling their vehicle by tilting their tablets or mobile devices; the action-battle RPG MONPLA SMASH; along with exciting first glimpses of the GREE versions of world-famous game franchises. Producers will recount stories from behind the scenes in studio development, while in the GREE Collection, one of the highlights of last year's show, GREE Navigators will grace the floors in full cosplay regalia, taking on the roles of key characters from GREE's hit titles.
